The 21st Annual National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) Food Drive will be held this Saturday.

Post offices in Anita, Brockway, Brookville, Falls Creek, Hamilton, Punxsutawney and Summerville are participating.

Residents can leave a bag filled with donated food — such as peanut butter, canned soups, meats and fish, canned juices, fruits, veggies and boxed goods — at their mailboxes for pickup.

If your post office does not have carriers or is not participating, please consider dropping off your donations at the nearest participating location listed above. Last year, 70 millions pounds of food was collected, with 4,500 pounds collected in Punxsutawney.

Pictured are Bill McCullough, rural carrier; John Woods, rural carrier; Eric McKendree, city carrier; Tom Bridge, supervisor; Jennifer Lloyd, RD carrier; and Jamie Holeva, HCR driver.
