‘Laughing all the Way’ to a good cause

May 8, 2013

Tom Curry (left), Ginger Momyer (center) and Kathy Bish paused during rehearsal for "Laughing All the Way," an evening of entertainment being presented this month by the Jefferson County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR) and the Jefferson County Area Agency on Aging.

The show benefits PASR's Educational Support Grant and the activities of each hosting senior center. In addition to the light-hearted songs, skits, jokes, a monologue and a most unusual fashion show, audiences will be treated to an assortment of desserts and beverages during intermission.

"Laughing All the Way" will open at 7 p.m. this Friday, May 10, at the Pine Street Senior Center (938-8376).

The following week, the troupe moves to the Brockwayville Depot Center (265-1719) for a 7 p.m. performance on Wednesday, May 15.

The third show will take place at the Brookville Heritage House Center (849-3391) at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 22.

The final performance will take place at the Reynoldsville Foundry Center (653-2522) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 28.

Advance tickets are available by calling each center; tickets will also be sold at the door each evening.
