‘Follow the Yellow Brick Road to Hope’: Though months away, plans in full swing for this year’s Relay event

The committee for the Punxsutawney Relay For Life is busily planning this year's event to be held Saturday, July 13 in Barclay Square. PUNXSUTAWNEY — If you want to think warm thoughts that will propel us into summer-like weather, than why not think of the Punxsutawney Relay For Life event, which will be held on Saturday, July 13, in Barclay Square.

Plans and preparations for this year’s event are already well underway.

"We need people to recruit new teams for the Relay," said Jennifer Heinze, co-chair with Robyn Shaffer for the Punxsy Relay again this year.
