30 Days of Thankfulness: The condensed version

Over the past few days, my Facebook wall has been covered with posts similar to this one: Day 2 — Today I'm thankful for my puppy dog, because he cheers me up when I've had a rough day.

Posts like this one are a part of what Facebookers are calling "30 Days of Thankfulness," an intentional effort, of course centered around November being the month we celebrate Thanksgiving, to remember to be thankful.

Winterization: Get ready to hang in there

At the end of every camping season, members of my family make the trip out to Deer Meadow Campground in Cook Forest to help close up my grandma's camp site, a process called "winterizing."
