The Battle of Ohio had some playoff implications for the first time in years. Cleveland took sole possession of first place in the AFC North after a dominating victory over Cincinnati. Cincinnati QB Andy Dalton had the worst performance of his career as he went 10-33 for 86 yards and 3 interceptions. This resulted in a quarterback rating of 2. As for Cleveland, this marks the latest in the season they have been in first place since 1994.

PUNXSUTAWNEY â€” A special Veterans Day program was held Monday morning at the Punxsutawney Area High School for local veterans.

In honor of Veterans Day, several local agencies will be hosting programs today:
â€˘ Punxsy will host an 11 a.m. ceremony at the Baptist Church;
â€˘ Big Run will be hosting a 7 p.m. ceremony at the Big Run War Memorial;
â€˘ Mulberry Square will host a program to honor the veterans at 10:15 a.m.;
Punxsy's Luke Shiock has been named the 2014 KSAC Large All-Conference Lineman of the Year. The honor for Shiock comes after a successful season by the Chucks and comes at a position where it can be hard to recognize a player's strengths.
Punxsy Head Coach Alan Nichol said that lots of teams the Chucks faced this year had to implement game plans to work around Shiock, which speaks to his strength, both offensively and defensively.
Punxsy filled 11 spots on the first-team All-Conference list, as well.
Loretta J. Wazelle, 67, of Brookville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014, at her home.
Ms. Wazelle was born Sept. 8, 1947, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Reed R. Adams and Jean V. (Milliron) Wazelle of Punxsutawney, who survives.
Loretta began her trucking career in 1992. She was employed by AGX Trucking Company in Clarion. She was a master equestrian, avid gardener, lover of the outdoors and a true Christian.
Blair D. Gearhart, 85, of Mahaffey, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, from Hillsdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hillsdale, Pa.
The son of Albert Blair and Clara â€śPeggyâ€ť V. (Weaver) Gearhart, he was born on March 8, 1929, in Bell Twp., Clearfield County, Pa.
Blair was a graduate of the Mahaffey High School.
PUNXSUTAWNEY â€” It may seem a bit early to think about Christmas, but area businesses downtown are getting ready for the hustle and bustle that comes with Christmas shopping.
A variety of stores will be participating and offering great deals, as Mistletoe Madness 2014 will be held this Saturday, Nov. 8, beginning at 9 a.m. downtown.

Howard E. Yeaney, 80, of Reynoldsville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, at Penn Highlands Healthcare in DuBois.
Born April 11, 1934, in Punxsutawney, he was the son of the late Howard W. and Helen (Kromer) Yeaney.
On July 23, 1957, he married Donna I. Yeaney (Adamson) in Punxsutawney. She survives.
Howard was a steel worker for U.S. Steel, and retired in 1977. He was Protestant by faith.
He was a member of the Eagles and the Steel Workers Union.
Laurel Ann Magill, 56, of Punxsutawney, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, at home.
She was born Nov. 17, 1956, in Hartford, Connecticut, a daughter of the late Farrie Elizabeth Mariner and Everett James Clark of Altoona.
Laurel enjoyed teaching the Bible, sketching, puzzles, plants and being outside in nature.
James â€śJimâ€ť A. Frederick, 82, of Parsippany, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, at St. Clareâ€™s Hospice in Dover, New Jersey.
Born on Oct. 19, 1932, he was the youngest of 10 children to the late Sarah and J. Frank Frederick of Punxsutawney.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Kelley Tucker and Tracey Osborne; four sons, Ronald of Fairfax, Virginia, Donald of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Kenneth of Monaca, Pa. and John of DuBois, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three siblings, Mary, June and Richard.
Joann Baird, 62, of Punxsutawney, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, at Mulberry Square Eldercare.
She was born on July 13, 1952, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late John and Dorothy Roselli.
Joann was married to Roger Baird. He survives and resides in Punxsutawney.
In addition to Roger, she is survived by three children, Jason Roselli of DuBois, Joshua Burdick of Rimersburg and Jessica Baird of Punxsutawney; one sister, Sharon Gearhart and husband Delbert of Jamestown, Pa.; and two brothers, Rick Fisher and wife Ruth of Reynoldsville and Chuck Fisher of Rossiter.
