Elementary tourney wraps up with final quartet of contests

February 20, 2013

PUNXSUTAWNEY — After 12 games in three nights, the annual boys' basketball elementary tournament wrapped up with another night of quality court action.

The opening pair of contests saw a close contest before a runaway victor claimed the later fourth- and fifth-grade editions.

After leading 8-5 over the first 10 minutes of play, Alabama scored three of the four second-half points for the 11-6 win over Colorado.

For the second night in a row, Princeton was paced by Andrew Young, who netted 12 points. Young and the Tigers swept past the Ducks of Oregon, 26-7.
