Junior High football sweeps Keystone at home

October 16, 2013

PUNXSUTAWNEY — The seventh and eighth-grade, as well as the ninth-grade Chucks took on Keystone at Jack LaMarca Stadium on Wednesday night.

As their last home game of the season, the boys knew the importance of walking away with a win.

The seventh-and eighth-grade team kicked off the action with a 36-26 victory, which was followed by a 30-0 win by the ninth-grade squad.

"It's a nice way to send the boys off," ninth-grade head coach Todd Heigley said. "A win was nice, but a shutout is icing on the cake."
