September 3, 2012

INDIANA — Trevor Peace powered the Punxsy boys’ soccer team to its first victory of the season on Saturday. Peace assisted on two scores and blasted two goals of his own to defeat DuBois, 4-2, in the second day of the Indiana Tournament.

Host Indiana claimed a 2-0 win over Punxsy in the season opener Friday.

After a Beavers' goal just under six minutes into the contest, the Chucks’ Kevin Hughes netted the first goal of the year at 31:57 off a pass from Peace for a 1-1 halftime score.
