LLBB rebounds after loss to DuBois, wins D-X South

July 8, 2012

PUNXSUTAWNEY — After a 4-0 loss to DuBois under the lights Saturday night in Punxsutawney, Punxsy's 11- and 12-year-old baseball All-Star team bounced back in a big way, downing DuBois 12-6 to earn the District X South title and a shot at the outright championship against Warren.

Because Warren is currently undefeated and Punxsy's loss carries over, Punxsy will have to win a pair to be named the champions, while Warren must win just once. The first game of the series will take place in Warren Tuesday.
