Fezell edged by Walbeck, dropped by Indiana Sox

June 12, 2012

PUNXSUTAWNEY — Last Saturday, the Fezell Enterprises Indiana Youth County League team dropped a close game to Walbeck, 7-5.

Walbeck led 4-0, but Fezell battled back to cut the lead to one run before a three-run inning put Walbeck comfortably ahead — a lead it would hold throughout the remainder of the game.

Joey DiPietro and Keeston Perry led the Punxsy offense with two hits apiece.

DiPietro added an RBI, and one of Perry's hits was a double.

Lucas Ambler also went 1-for-4 with two RBIs, and Kevin Hutton added an RBI walk for the visiting team.
