April 9, 2012

ST. MARYS — Last Wednesday, the Punxsy junior high girls' track team traveled to St. Marys to open its season against the Lady Dutch, and despite a 100-50 loss, the Lady Chucks showed some promising signs in their first meet.

St. Marys opened the meet with a victory in the 3200-meter relay to take a 5-0 lead, and the Lady Dutch never forfeited the lead during the remainder of the meet.
