Raiders' football outlasts Lions, 28-19

October 21, 2012

STRATTANVILLE — The Brookville Raiders proved Friday night that a win doesn't have to be glamorous in their 28-19 victory over the Clarion-Limestone Lions.

"An ugly win is just as good as a pretty win, and we were able to keep battling and score more points than them, plain and simple," said Chris Dworek, Raider varsity coach.

After a combined 24 penalty flags and nine turnovers between both teams, the Brookville Raiders were able to outlast the Lions, who were hot on the comeback trail.
