LADY CHUCKS' VOLLEYBALL TEAM HONORED AT BANQUET

The Lady Chucks volleyball team honored both its seniors and award winners at the annual banquet Sunday night at the Pantall Hotel in Punxsutawney. Varsity head coach Lisa Kephart and junior varsity head coach Megan Decker each delivered awards, and the seniors were honored for their time and service to the program. Each player was given a framed photograph from this season as a keepsake.

Brookville YMCA hosts fourth-annual Turkey Trot

BROOKVILLE — Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and in celebration, the Brookville YMCA held its fourth-annual Turkey Trot Saturday. The trot consisted of three races: The Wingding (one-mile run or walk); the Turkey Trot (five-kilometer race); and the Tough Turkey (10-kilometer race).

More than 70 competitors participated in the various races, and an award was given to each of the top three finishers in each race for both males and females.
