Bulldogs pounce, Punxsy falls on Sr. Night

October 22, 2011

PUNXSUTAWNEY — Redbank Valley scored six first-half touchdowns and held the Chucks scoreless in the first half en route to a 42-12 victory on Punxsy's Senior Night Friday in Punxsy.

"The thing is, we knew Redbank Valley had a lot of speed, but knowing it and containing it are two different things," Punxsy head coach Alan Nichol said. "The past two weeks have been a bit disjointed for us with injuries and moving guys around. You have to be improving this time of year, and we haven't been able to do that."
