Shiock named lone Punxsy girls' soccer All-Star

November 17, 2010

PUNXSUTAWNEY — Punxsy senior Timi Shiock — a goalkeeper for the Lady Chucks for more than three years — has ended her career by being recognized as an Upper Allegheny Valley Soccer League Girls' Central Division All-Star for the second-straight year.

Shiock was the only member of the Lady Chucks to be named an All-Star this season, as both she and Sierra Milton were 2009 All-Stars. She helped Punxsy accomplish a 6-12 season in 2010.

During those six 2010 victories, Shiock allowed just five goals. In addition, Punxsy gave up a school-record low of 47 goals this season.
