Cody T. Haag, 27, of Rossiter, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, at UPMC - Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.
He was born July 9, 1987, in DuBois, the beloved son of Terry and Jeanne (Lunger) Haag.
He was a member of the Wheels of Yesteryear Car Club, and was a racing enthusiast and an avid sports fan.
He regularly attended the Steffy United Methodist Church.
He had a quick wit, a wonderful sense of humor and a caring heart. He touched the hearts of all who knew him. He was Godâ€™s angel, and now he walks with the Lord. He was not only his Dadâ€™s son, but also his best buddy.
Dennis J. â€śDJâ€ť Vettenburg, 74, of Chord Road in Corry, Pa., died on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at his residence.
He was born on Oct. 22, 1939, in Corry, Pa., a son of the late John and Virginia Laird Vettenburg.
DJ was raised and educated in Corry, graduating from Corry Area High School. As a young man, he served two years with the US Army. Over the years, DJ lived in several areas, including Corry, Frewsburg, New York, and Live Oak, Florida.
Jeffrey Alan Carlson, 42, of Dayton, passed away on Sept. 14, 2014, at his residence.
He was born on April 19, 1972, to Carl and Julia (Turk) Carlson in DuBois.
Jeffrey worked as a manager for Advance Auto Parts in Kittanning. He graduated from Jeff Tech - DuBois.
He was a member of the Harvest Community Church of Indiana. Jeffrey had a passion for his sport bike. He enjoyed hunting, kayaking and helping others in the community. Jeffrey organized the Advance Auto Parts Car, Truck and Bike Show. He was also blessed by being a future grandfather.
Esther I. Miller, 88, formerly of Frostburg, Pa., where she lived for years until her sonâ€™s death, died on July 31, 2014.
She was born on Nov. 5, 1925.
Esther is survived by her children, Carl R. Miller, Jr. and Carol A. Mott, both of Rochester, New York; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and nine brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Miller, Sr., and a son, Robert A. Miller of Frostburg.
A graveside prayer service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Frostburg Cemetery.
Albert Dan Seger, a longtime resident of the town of Niagara, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at home, while receiving care from Niagara Hospice. He was 81. He was born in Banks Township, Indiana County, Pa., on June 1, 1933, the son of Oren Lee and Kiziah (Brunner) Seger.
H. Robert Bickerstaff, â€śChaplain Bob,â€ť ascended to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sept. 15, 2014, at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born Aug. 21, 1938 in Jeanette, Pa., to Harry and Hazel Bickerstaff, he married Sally Sexton on Feb. 2, 1963 in Cochranton, Pa.

Rita Mae Richardson, 85, of Punxsutawney, passed away Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
Mrs. Richardson was born April 21, 1929, in DuBois, a daughter of the late Fred and Ida (Johnston) Wells.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Richardson.
Rita was a member of the Canoe Ridge Church of God.
She loved polka, and was a member of the Polka Club. She also loved bowling, sewing, dancing and her beloved dog â€śDaisy Mae.â€ť
Evelyn K. Haines, 95, of Punxsutawney, passed away Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
Mrs. Haines was born Dec. 4, 1918, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Jacob and Sadie (Wolfe) Kromer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron B. Haines, on Dec. 23, 1981. They were married Oct. 31, 1941.
Mary Catherine Fleming, of Punxsutawney, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Punxsutawney, she was the daughter of the late Joseph U. Rowbottom and E. Bonita (Ackerd) Rowbottom.
On Aug. 27, 1950, she married Robert B. Fleming. He preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1997.
Mary was an excellent cook and baker. Her biggest enjoyment was her family and children.
John Francis Orsich, 47, of Punxsutawney, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014 at his home.
John was born Aug. 8, 1967, in Punxsutawney, a son of Alice (Kaza) Orsich of Punxsutawney, who survives, and the late Frank Orsich.
He was a member of Ss. Cosmas & Damian Church in Punxsutawney.
John was employed by Goodwill Industries in the Punxsy retail store.
