Deborah Ann Fetterman, 57, Rossiter, passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at her home.
She was born August 19, 1954, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of William and Anna (Roman) Gomola of Punxsutawney, who survive.
April 26, 1976, she married Theodore Fetterman, who survives, of Rossiter.
Mrs. Fetterman was a graduate of Jeff Tech and worked for many years as a merchandiser.
She was a loving wife, mom and grandma who loved time with her grandchildren.
Samuel Haslego, 85, Punxsutawney, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, at his home.
He was born July 13, 1926, in Banks Township, Indiana County, a son of the late John and Mary Haslego.
Feb. 25, 1950, he married his wife of 61 years, Ellen â€śMarieâ€ť (Brady) Haslego, who survives, of Punxsutawney.
He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Urey.
Mr. Haslego served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a motor machinistâ€™s mate.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator for 33 years for IA Construction.
Lillian LoNeva â€śLonneâ€ť (Lewis) Kalus, 77, Glen Campbell, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at her home.
She was born Jan. 15, 1934, in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Nelson O. and Frances L. (Yeager) Lewis.
Nov. 12, 1957, she married Carl â€śCharlesâ€ť Kalus, who preceded her in death Aug. 25, 2002.
Mrs. Kalus was a member of the Glen Campbell United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed music, playing piano and singing. She also enjoyed reading.
She was a 1951 graduate of Clearfield High School and a 1954 graduate of the Clearfield School of Nursing.
George E. Roberts, 91, a guest at Jefferson Manor, formerly of Brookville, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, at Jefferson Manor.
He was born March 18, 1920, a son of the late John Jacob and Minnie(Stubbelbine) Roberts.
Sept. 30, 1945, in Corsica, he married Ruth F. Carrier, who preceded him in death Aug. 15, 2006.
Mr. Roberts was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.
He was a self-employed carpenter, a member of the Pisgah Presbyterian Church in Corsica and a past school board member of the Clarion-Limestone School District.
Dr. Blair D. Drummond, 91, New Bethlehem, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, at his home with his family by his side.
He was born in Punxsutawney, a son of the late John C. and Lula Mae (McHenry) Drummond.
He married Mildred Barefoot Drummond, his wife of 62 years, who preceded him in death in 2009.
Mr. Drummond was a founding member of the Grace Baptist Church in New Bethlehem.
He graduated from Punxsutawney Area High School, Penn State University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
James D. Himes, 80, Punxsutawney, formerly of Ringgold, Passed away Nov. 23, 2011, at home.
He was born Sept. 4, 1931, in Ringgold, the son of the late Lennie and Hazel (Reed) Himes.
Sept. 11, 1954, he married Maxine Minnich who survives.
Mr. Himes was a former member of the Ringgold United Methodist Church; a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War; and a retired employee of Season-All in Punxsutawney.
Cleda (Lettie) Hutchins, 86, Brookville, formerly a long-time resident of Elm Street in Indiana, passed away Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at McKinley Health Center, Brookville.
She was born Sept. 30, 1925, in Porter, a daughter of George M. and Mary G. (Doverspike) Lettie.
She was married for 52 years to Harold E. Hutchins, who preceded her in death Dec. 20, 1994.
Mrs. Hutchins was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Indiana. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and being with her beloved dogs.
Charles A. Bennett, 55, Mahaffey, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
He was born Feb. 5, 1956, in Clearfield, a son of Freda (Lee) Bennett, who survives, of Mahaffey, and the late Orvis Bennett.
Mr. Bennett was a 1973 graduate of Purchase Line High School. He was the owner and operator of Bennettâ€™s Body Shop for more than 35 years.
He was an avid turkey hunter and a loving son, brother and true friend who will be truly missed.
Jon A. Barletta, 62, Punxsutawney, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, in Latrobe.
He was born April 7, 1949, in Clearfield, a son of the late Felix A. and Mary (Rezzolla) Barletta.
Mr. Barletta was a member of S.S. Cosmas & Damian Roman Catholic Church.
He attended Boston University and graduated from Gannon University in Erie.
Surviving relatives include two brothers, Robert T. Barletta and wife Victoria of New Castle, and Donald J. Barletta and wife Laura of State College.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
William C. Firment, 81, Altoona, died unexpectedly Saturday, November 19, 2011.
He was born January 22, 1930, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Michael and Veronica (Lellock) Firment.
July 25, 1994, he married Dorothy A. "Dottie" Iorio, who survives, of Altoona.
Mr. Firment attended Punxsutawney Area High School.
He was a member of the Mt. Carmel Church, Altoona, and the Bavarian Aid Society.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean conflict.
In 1992, he retired as a branch manager of Lance Cracker Co., where he worked for 32 years.
