Mary L. Molinengo, 79, Rossiter, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at McKinley Health Center, Brookville.

Sara Marie Griffith, 88, Marion Center, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Crystal Waters Personal Care Home.
She was born March 11, 1924, in West Mahoning Township, Indiana County, a daughter of the late Amos E. and Della Mae Fleck Smith.
Mrs. Griffith was a graduate of Dayton High School.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Rochester Mills Presbyterian Church, where she served as an elder and sang in the church choir.
She enjoyed traveling, cooking and latch hooking.
Alda Pauline (Brocious) Shick, 98, died Monday, July 30, 2012, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center in Punxsutawney.
She was born May 24, 1914, in Ringgold Township, a daughter of the late Osmer and Twila (Dinger) Brocious.
She was married to Preston Shick, who preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 2002.
Mrs. Shick was a member of the Timblin United Methodist Church in Timblin and was very active as a Sunday School teacher.
She sang in the church choir and was a trustee and worked in the Methodist Women's Organization.
Maxine W. Demko, 87, of Punxsutawney and Cortland, Ohio, died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Nov. 13, 1924, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Shovestall) Mowrey.
More than 70 years ago, she became the wife of John Demko, who survives.
Maxine and her husband returned to the Punxsutawney area in 1985 and built a summer home, which they enjoyed very much.
Maxine also enjoyed working outside with her flowers and playing Bingo.
Linda M. Godo, 43, Punxsutawney, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012, in Ringgold Township.
She was born Aug. 26, 1968, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Joseph Godo and Lenora (Beatty) Godo, who survives, of Punxsutawney.
Sharon Smith, 49, Punxsutawney, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012, in Punxsutawney.
She was born Sept. 3, 1962, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of Thomas M. Pearce, who survives, of Mahaffey, and the late Velma R. (Shields) Pearce.
Sharon loved flowers, gardening, animals and her dog, Raven.
She was a woman who was devoted to her children and will be missed by many.
Marjorie C. Latta, 83, Punxsutawney, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
She was born September 23, 1928, in Hazen, a daughter of the late Reverend Ralph and Viona (Bushley) Brooks.
Jan. 24, 1955, she married Norman Latta who preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 1991.
She was a member of St. Peterâs United Church of Christ and was also a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary of Big Run.
She was a cook at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital and retired from there after 18 years of service.
D. Chester Knapp, 90, Brookville, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Highland View Health Care in Brockway.
He was born July 15, 1922, in Rose Township, Jefferson County, a son of the late Arthur and Alice Marie (Hice) Knapp.
Feb. 6, 1946, in Brookville, he married June A. Knisley, who preceded him in death Oct. 13, 1999.
Mr. Knapp was a farmer.
He was a member of the Stanton United Methodist Church, The Farm Bureau and the Atlantic Breeders' Cooperative.
Robert Lynn Frantz, 77, Big Run, died Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
He was born April 7, 1935, in Foxburg, a son of the late Edward Milton and Pheobe (Guthrie) Frantz.
July 8, 1961, he married the former Donna M. Kendall, who preceded him in death in February 2005.
Following the death of his wife, Mr. Frantz found a dear friend in Virginia Grace States, who became a traveling buddy, a caretaker and a faithful helping hand to the end.
Mr. Frantz was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Ellen Marie Haslego, 80, Punxsutawney, Gaskill Township area, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
She was born Sept. 26, 1931, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Lawrence H. and Dora E. (Bair) Brady.
She married Samuel Haslego, who preceded her in death Nov. 25, 2011.
Mrs. Haslego loved listening to country music and spending time with her grandchildren.
