Mark A. Oâ€™Donnell, 50, Oâ€™Donnell Road, Sigel, Pa., died Sunday, July 20, 2014, at home.
He was born Sept. 13, 1963, in Brookville, a son of Joseph Francis Oâ€™Donnell, who survives, of Sigel, Pa., and Anna Marie Eisenman Oâ€™Donnell.
Mark was a self-employed farmer and well tender with Seneca Resources in natural gas.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles No. 983 of Brookville, Pa., and the Brookville Firemenâ€™s Club.
Surviving relatives include a son, Corey Oâ€™Donnell; a brother, Paul F. Oâ€™Donnell of Columbia, Maryland; and a sister, Mary Jane Oâ€™Donnell of Sigel.
John Franklin Finnegan, 62, of Baxter, Pa., died Friday, July 18, 2014, at the Brookville Hospital.
He was born Feb. 10, 1952, in Mahoning County, Ohio, the son of Donna Jean Canja, who survives, of Struthers, Ohio.
John was later adopted by the late John Edgar and Nellie Belle Finnegan.
John graduated from Milton Hershey High School and later obtained a bachelorâ€™s degree in Powdered Metallurgy from Penn State.
John was married to Mary E. Lucas on June 20, 1987, in Punxsutawney.
He was employed at Humphrey Charcoal until becoming disabled.
Donald W. Henry, 84, Punxsutawney, died Sunday, July 20, 2014, at home.
He was born Jan. 25, 1930, in Alabama Center, New York, a son of the late Edward J. and Beatrice V. (Derwick) Henry.
On Sept. 19, 1957, he married Kathleen Watson, who survives, of Dover, Delaware.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was a salesman in the roofing industry for more than 40 years and retired in 1998.
Don was a longtime member of the Presbyterian Church and a 50-year member of Nanticoke Masonic Lodge of Federalsburg, Maryland.
Brittany Nicole Burnette, 25, died Thursday, July 17, 2014.
She is survived by her children, Gabbryella L. Jones of Punxsutawney and Harlen T. Baker; her mother, Judith D. Jones of Punxsutawney; a sister, Amber J. Jones (Kenny Ball Jr.); a brother, Cory D. Burnette; two nephews, Ian M. Jones and Kameron L. Corvin; a niece, Jaylin D. Corvin; aunts and uncles Sharon and Mike Sanner, Raymond D. Jones, Chrissy Yost, Matthew W. Jones and Kathy Jones; and her maternal grandparents, Tom and Joy Preston.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ray and Ruth Burnette.
Donald A. Brady, 59, of Smicksburg, passed away with his family by his side, Thursday, July 17, 2014, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in 1954 to Wendell C. and Mildred (Elkin) Brady in Indiana.
He was a member of Plumville Presbyterian Church, Plumville.
Don had such a special way of making people feel good. He had more friends than you could ever count and a family who meant the world to him.
He was a blessing to so many people, and he will be forever missed.
Mary Lou Plyler Shick, of Brookville, passed peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, July 17, 2014, at the age of 79.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Alden Plyler and Mary Barbara Lahr Plyler; her brother, Roger Plyer; her husbands, Francis D. Raybuck and Bernard W. Shick; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She is survived by her sister, Rose Slike; and nine children, Randy Raybuck, Lynne Shaffer, Pam Yates, Sandy Raybuck, Connie Moore, John Shick, Theresa Shick, Bill Shick and Elizabeth McManigle.
Donald J. Love, Sr., 85, of Punxsutawney, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
Mr. Love was born, Dec. 7, 1928, in Smicksburg, a son of the late Lester and Edna (Dickey) Love.
He is survived by his wife, Alverda M. (Miller) Love, of Punxsutawney.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War.
Donald worked many years as a foreman for Jefferson Grocery.
After retirement, he became a school bus driver for Krise Bus in the Punxsutawney Area School District.
William E. White, 87, of Punxsutawney, died on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
Born Oct. 31, 1926, in Kansas City, Missouri, he was the son of the late Benjamin E. White and Goldie M. Cross White.
After graduation from high school, William served from 1944 till 1946 in the U. S. Navy.
He was married to Rose Ann Lattanzia on May 17, 2001, in Independence, Missouri. She survives and lives in Punxsutawney.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Winifred G. Hysong Randall, age 90, of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, a former resident of Punxsutawney, passed away on July 15, 2014, at Knox Community Hospital.
She was born on Aug. 31, 1923, in Punxsutawney, to the late Lee Howard and Hazel (Dilts) Spangler.
Winifred was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist City Church.
William E. White, 87, Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
