Thomas Frederick Redding, 77

Thomas Frederick Redding, 77, of Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at DuBois Regional Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 18, 1936, a son of the late Clark F. "Gags" and Clara V. (Hoover) Redding.

Mr. Redding served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.

On Feb. 7, 1959, he married the former Judith B. Spencer, who survives.

He had previously worked as a jet mechanic in New York and was a retired member of the Carpenters Union and B&O Railroad.

His enjoyments were his family, golfing, hunting and working in his garden.

James E. Adams, 65, of Punxsutawney, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Adams was born Oct. 23, 1948, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Mervin J. and Gertrude (Bush) Adams.

He is survived by his wife, Diana L. Adams of Punxsutawney.

He was a member of Pine Creek Independent Baptist Church in Kittanning.

James loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and just working with his hands, building or repairing anything that needed to be fixed.
