Mary Eleanor (Eddy) Wulfert, 76, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born Aug. 21, 1936, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of Clarence and Margaret (Adams) Eddy.
She was married to Thomas Wulfert, who preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 2001.
She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed playing Bingo, needlepoint and spending time with her grandchildren.
Robert William “Rizzo” Mallin, 83, of Rossiter, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born June 20, 1929, in Canoe Township, Indiana County, a son of the late Hugh and Bertha (Sandstrom) Mallin.
Mr. Mallin was a cook in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He enjoyed sharing his talent of cooking for others, whether at his home or for a fund raising event in Rossiter.
“Rizzo” worked for Interstate Amesite for many years.
He belonged to the Laborer International Union, Local No. 1058.
Betty Jane Harriger, 81, Sigel, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born Sept. 10, 1931, in Smethport, Pa., a daughter of the late Robert B. Miles and Valeria Smith Miles.
Nov. 18, 1948, in Sigel, she married James B. Harriger, who survives.
Betty was retired as an elementary teacher from the Brookville Area School District.
She was a member of the Sigel United Methodist Church, and a retired
member of the PSEA.
Her love of antiques developed into a business, Betty Jane's Antiques, which she operated for many years.
