Margaret Agnes Holes, 90, of Mahaffey, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at her home in Mahaffey.
She was born Nov. 28, 1922, in Madera, Pa., a daughter of John Alexander and Suzie (Davis) Alexander.
She was a lifelong member of McPherron C&MA Church.
She was a graduate of Madera High School.
Mrs. Holes was a homemaker and loved to crochet, quilt and spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
James R. McKee, 83, Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013.
He was born Feb. 22, 1929, in Mahaffey, a son of the late James A. and Isabel Mae (Hall) McKee.
He was first married to Norma (Allenbaugh) McKee, who preceded him in death on Jan. 19, 1991.
He then married Isabel M. (Kaufman) McKee, who also preceded him in death, on May 15, 1998.
He was a member of the English Lutheran Church.
He served in the U.S. Army and received the Berlin Air Lift Medal during his service.
He then served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War, where he received the Purple Heart.
