Fred Wachob, 90

Fred Wachob, 90, Punxsutawney, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born March 6, 1922, in Brookville, a son of the late Charles and Mary (Parr) Wachob.

On Nov. 1, 1946, he married Virginia (Bennett) Wachob, who preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Punxsutawney.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Europe.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 301, John W. Jenks Lodge No. 534, the Jesters, Local Plumbers and Pipefitters No. 354 and the VFW.
