Grace A. Priester Brown, 89, of North East, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, peacefully surrounded by her family.
She was born Dec. 18, 1922, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Charles and Cora Priester.
Grace married Robert D. Brown in January 1942 and moved to North East in 1950.
She previously worked at several local restaurants and retired from A&B Service in 2005.
Her hobbies included gardening, traveling and always caring for her family. She was well known for her pies.
Grace was a longtime member of the South Harborcreek United Methodist Church.
