Joseph Gresock Jr., 90, of Tonawanda, N.Y., passed away at home Thursday, July 12, 2012.
He was born June 3, 1922, in DeLancey, a son of the late Joseph Sr. and Mary (Kromaus) Gresock.
Being one of eight children, Mr. Gresock, as a young man, stayed behind and worked on the family farm for a number of years while his brothers were serving in the military.
He also worked for a short while for the state and in a local coal mine.
Bertha Mae Dinger, 90, Punxsutawney, died Monday, July 16, 2012, at Jefferson Manor, Brookville.
She was born Aug. 13, 1921, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Ellwood and Grace Irene (Geist) Yount.
She was married to her husband of 71 years, Byron E. Dinger, who survives.
Mrs. Dinger was a member of the Scotland Avenue Church of God, where she served as the church organist and pianist.
She and her husband had helped to raise foster children, and she liked to cook and bake.
Dorothy Miller, 93, Punxsutawney, went home to her Lord Monday, July 16, 2012, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois.
She was born June 4, 1919, in Madera, a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Agnes E. (Brudnock) Kowalcyk.
She was married to Jesse W. Miller, who preceded her in death Feb. 16, 2006.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the First Church of God, and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who adored her family. She had a strong dedication to her Lord.
