Charlotte S. Himes, 94, Coolspring, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at her home.
She was born Nov. 15, 1917, in Worthville, a daughter of the late Quay and Eliza (Straitiff) Doverspike.
Ms. Himes was a school teacher for 43 years at Punxsutawney Middle School, where she taught reading and English.
She was a member of the Coolspring United Methodist Church.
Ms. Himes loved and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, Connie and Leslie, her boys, Tanner and Brodi, and her beloved cats.

Raymond Frederick Dush, 77, Brookville, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012, at his home.
He was born Feb. 20, 1935, in Brady Township, Clearfield County, a son of the late Pirl and Ella (Bailor) Dush.Â
Aug. 7, 1960, he married Dorothy (Jean) McCracken, who survives, at the Richardsville Baptist Church.Â
Penny E. Pearce, 57, Frostburg, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.
She was born Nov. 11, 1954, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Jessie Brocious.
She was married to Gary L. Pearce, who survives, of Frostburg.
Mrs. Pearce loved garage sales, flea markets and her cats. She also loved working on the computer.

Linda M. (Clark) Dubensky, 71, Cranberry Township, formerly of Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012.
She was the beloved wife of Thomas Dubensky; loving mother of Dona and Russ Sullivan, Sherri and Tom Dubensky, and Belinda Rape and Ken Anderson.
She was the proud grandmother of Christopher and Kim Dubensky, TJ Dubensky, Russell Sullivan, Curt Rape, Felicia Rape, Ashley Sullivan and Paige Rape.
Surviving relatives also include a sister, Sandra Dubensky; and a brother, Robert Clark.
Marguerite A. Huffman, 94, Summerville, died Saturday, April 21, 2012, at McKinley Health Center in Brookville.
She was born April 19, 1918, in Summerville, the daughter of the late Newell and Clara M. (Fye) Haugh.
Dec. 31, 1936, she married Percy F. Huffman, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Huffman graduated from Summerville High School in 1936.
She was a former employee at the Pennsylvania Memorial Home in Brookville. A member of the Summerville Methodist Church, her hobbies included sewing and embroidery.
Marilyn J. Siar, 83, Summerville, formerly of Punxsutawney, died Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Jefferson Manor in Brookville.
She was born Jan. 27, 1929, in Knox Dale, a daughter of the late William and Grace (McKnabb) Miller.
Oct. 4, 1947, she married Summers B. Siar, who survives.
Mrs. Siar was a graduate of Brookville High School.
She was a housewife and enjoyed puzzles, sightseeing, flea markets, playing cards and her grandchildren.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Matthew W. Snedden, 84, Anita, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Aug. 23, 1927, in Rossiter, a son of the late Walter and Ruth (Warden) Snedden.
July 14, 1951, he married Marie B. (Sivanich) Snedden, who survives, of Anita. They were married 60 years.
Mr. Snedden served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was employed for many years by Jefferson Grocery before retiring.
He was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church, where he was a member of the Men's Club.
April 20th
Dorothy J. (Randall) Clinch, 90, peacefully passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Meadow Lakes Healthcare Center in East Windsor, N.J.
 She was born in Winslow, and after graduating from Punxsutawney High School in 1940, she graduated from DuBois Business College. She also graduated from the Barbizon School of Modeling in New York, where she worked as a fashion model.
Ruth M. London, 90, Punxsutawney, died Friday, April 20, 2012, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
She was born Feb. 21, 1922, a daughter of the late Thomas and Barbara (Lester) Cowan.
July 23, 1955, she married Robert H. London, who preceded her in death May 10, 1999.
Mrs. London was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Punxsutawney and served as the organist at the Anita Presbyterian church.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, cooking and feeding her family.
April 18th
Evelyn Mae Clinger, 87, Brookville, Laurelbrooke Landing, formerly of Clark Street, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at McKinley Health Center.
She was born Sept. 25, 1924, in Anita, a daughter of the late Thomas and Lotta (Humm) Whitfield.
July 22, 1950, in Reynoldsville, she married Myron E. (Mike) Clinger, who preceded her in death April 13, 2011.
Mrs. Clinger was a homemaker and previously worked at Brookville Sylvania as an inspector.
A member of the Brookville Order of the Eastern Star, she enjoyed family, gardening, crocheting, reading and puzzles.
