E. Eugene "Gene" Kauffman, 80, Punxsutawney, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012, at his home.
He was born June 21, 1931, in Mahaffey, a son of the late H. Clayton and Catherine Mae (Lee) Kauffman.
He was married to Eleanor May (Smith) Kauffman, who survives, of Punxsutawney.
Mr. Kauffman was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War and 31 years in the National Guard.
He was retired from Season-All Industries and later worked part-time for CRW Home Supply, where he had many friends.
