Agness Maxine Schaper moved on from this life Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at the age of 90. 

She was a resident of Hilmar, Calif., when she passed away, but had lived in many places in California after being discharged from the U.S. Navy at the end of World War II. 

She was born in February 1922 and raised in Punxsutawney by her parents, Zelda Rae and Thomas Otto Enterline.

Maxine, as she was affectionately known to all, spent her life as a nurse; first as a Navy nurse, then working in different doctors' offices and later specializing in obstetrics.
