Margie Astorino, 63, Walston, died Monday, Feb.27, 2012, at Mulberry Square Eldercare and Rehabilitation Center in Punxsutawney, after a 21-year, courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 26, 1948, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Ross and Antoinette (Belott) Astorino.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Walston, as well as a member of the Walston Club.
William E. Beezer, 82, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, Fla.
He was born Jan. 16, 1930, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Edward and Caroline (Lamison) Beezer.
He moved to the Punta Gorda area a year ago from Thomasville, Ga.
Mr. Beezer worked in pharmaceutical sales before retiring.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Mr. Beezer was Protestant by faith.
Eleanor Joan (Clinger) Kent, 82, Punxsutawney, formerly of Clarion, died Feb. 27, 2012, at her home.
She was born July 23, 1929, in Corsica, a daughter of the late George Leo and Alice Ethel (Snyder) Clinger.
Oct. 14, 1959, she married her husband of 43 years, Ralph Owen Kent, who preceded her in death Oct. 14, 1993.
Mrs. Kent worked at the Brookville Glove Factory as a seamstress; the O-I Glass plant in Clarion; Clarion University; Clarion Hospital; and Clarion Area Schools as a cook and dietary aide. She was a member of the O-I Auxiliary.
