John Robert Bazella Sr., 66

John Robert Bazella Sr., 66, Rossiter, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at home.

He was born Dec. 27, 1945, in New Kensington, a son of the late John Casmier and Olive Bertha (Daugherty) Bazella.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having faithfully served his country in Vietnam during the Vietnam War, where he was also exposed to Agent Orange that caused years of health issues that he refused to let keep him down.

Oct. 18, 1968, he married Judith Anne Heinsen, who survives.

In 1997, he and his wife moved to the 250-acre family farm in Rossiter.

Jeanette W. Craft, 93, Punxsutawney, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born June 30, 1918, in Mahaffey, a daughter of the late Stanley and Antonia (Sokolowski) Visnesky.

June 19, 1955, she married Paul W. Craft, who preceded her in death April 26, 1981.

She was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church in Sykesville.

She was a private practice nurse, a farm wife and a personal investor.
