Verla June Beebe, 87, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at High Point Nursing Facility.
She was born Nov. 16, 1925, in Ringgold Township, Pa., a daughter of the late Clair and Meda (Shaffer) Martz.
Aug. 29, 1946, she married Howard Beebe.
Verla grew up on a farm in Punxsutawney and moved to Buffalo, N.Y.
She was employed at Curtiss Wright during World War II, and also as a nurseâs aide at Perrysburgh to be close to her future husband, Howard.
After raising her family, she worked at the Main St. Bristol Home as a cook.
Margaret âMargeâ L. (Parada) Brink, 86, of Glen Campbell, Pa., died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The daughter of Joseph M. and Anna H. (Korney) Parada, she was born on July 16, 1926, in Kilrun, Indiana County, Pa.
Marge was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Glen Campbell.
A highlight of Margeâs life was her love for her family and the great enjoyment she received from being amidst her family during gatherings; meals and celebrations.
A homemaker in the true sense of the word, she liked cooking and baking for her family.
