Joseph M. Serge, 91, of Punxsutawney, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Serge was born Oct. 6, 1921, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Rosario Serge and Catherine (Caliguire) Serge.
Nov. 11, 1947, he married the love of his life, Anne (Schepis) Serge, of Punxsutawney, who survives.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II as a pharmacist's mate aboard the USS Independence.
Mr. Serge worked as a carpenter for the B&O Railroad — Chessie System.
Elizabeth A. Brady, 73, of Anita, passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.
Mrs. Brady was born July 31, 1939, in Hyde, Pa., a daughter of the late Edward L. King and Doris H. (Hart) King.
She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Heffner, of DuBois.
Elizabeth enjoyed crocheting, square dancing, singing and spending time with all of her grandchildren.
