David Paul Mottorn

July 19, 2011

With heavy hearts, we bid goodbye to father, husband and friend David Paul Mottorn. July 16, 2011, Dave died suddenly, but doing something he loved best, biking along the Freeport-Butler Trail.

Dave was a great lover of nature and a great storyteller. Frequently, these passions came together, when he would spin an entertaining tale along a hiking trail or while dipping his kayak’s oar into the water. He loved singing, too, but his wry mantra, “If you don’t sing good, sing loud,” should be an indicator of his choral abilities.
