Etta L. Kramer, 78

Etta L. Kramer, 78, Punxsutawney, died Sunday, April 3, 2011, at Mulberry Square Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Feb. 23, 1933, in Troutville, the daughter of the late William and Virginia (Frantz) Kramer.

In September 1950, she married Charles Kramer, who preceded her in death June 16, 1987.

Mrs. Kramer was a dental assistant and a member of the Valley Chapel United Methodist Church in Juneau.

Mary Leotta Reiter, 79

Mary Leotta Reiter, 79, Big Run, died Sunday, April 3, 2011, at DuBois Nursing Home.

She was born Aug. 7, 1931, in Bell Township, a daughter of the late Russell Vern and Ethlyn Ruth (Nupp) Timblin.

March 5, 1954, she married Kenneth Olan Reiter, who preceded her in death Aug. 15, 2007.

Mrs. Reiter was a member of St. Phillips United Methodist Church, where she had also been a Sunday School teacher.

She had previously worked in the chenille department at Standard Pennant.

James Ronald "Papa Ron" Stiver, 67

James Ronald "Papa Ron" Stiver, 67, Anita, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

Mr. Stiver was born May 29, 1943, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late James H. and Dolores (Noerr) Stiver.

April 17, 1963, he married Andrea C. (Zeedick) Stiver, who survives, of Anita. They were married for nearly 48 years.

Mr. Stiver was a lifetime member of the McCalmont Township Fire Company and was a truck driver for Regent Trucking Company. He was known for his great sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
