Leland (Jim) E. Gilbert, 89, formerly of Punxsutawney and a resident at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 6, 1921, in Germania, a son of the late Harry and Mabel Gilbert.
In 1957, he married Shirley Deshong Gilbert, who survives.
Mr. Gilbert was an avid potato grower and farmer for more than 60 years. He loved his Farmall tractors, enjoyed hunting and loved to tell everyone he met over the years his experiences with potato growing. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Anthony D. Campagnola, 78, DeLancey, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
He was born July 10, 1932, in DeLancey, a son of the late Dominic and Mary Emily (Baker) Campagnola.
He was a member of St. Adrian Roman Catholic Church and St. Joe's Polish Club of DeLancey.
Surviving relatives include a sister, Barbara Molnar and husband Frank of Chicora; and a brother, Joe Campagnola of DeLancey.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
Louise J. Brosius, 87, Brookville, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at Jefferson Manor in Brookville.
She was born May 4, 1923, in Redbank Township, Armstrong County, a daughter of the late Ivan Donald and Hazel (Blose) Raybuck.
May 15, 1943, she married Lester O. Brosius, who preceded her in death March 17, 2009.
Mrs. Brosius was a homemaker and a member of Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church and attended Meade Chapel. She was also a member of the DAR in Brookville.
