Minnie Emabel Brothers, 96, Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at Wellington Heights, Punxsutawney.
She was born Sept. 4, 1914, in Indiana County, a daughter of the late Clifford and Twila (Philippi) Hughes.
She was married to Bernard Brothers, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Brothers was a homemaker and a member of the Rochester Mills Presbyterian Church.
William John Cameron, 80, Rossiter, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, in Rossiter.
He was born Sept. 4, 1930, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Arnold M. and Ethel M. Cameron.
He was married to Jane Mallory Cameron, who survives.
Mr. Cameron raised strawberries and was a dairy and beef farmer. He was retired from Benjamin Coal Company, Sky Haven Coal Company and his business, Cameron Bus Company, after 52 years.
Erda H. Simons, 95, New Kensington, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, in Natrona Heights.Â
She was born Feb. 12, 1916, in New Kensington, a daughter of the late Cletus and Effie (Winand) Scholze.Â
She was married to Coy Lingenfelter, who preceded her in death June 10, 1941. She then married John E. Simons, who preceded her in death Jan. 31, 1972.
Mrs. Simons worked as an operator for Bell Telephone, a switch board operator for Alcoa, Miller Brothers Shoe Store, Gaylord’s Department Store and the YMCA, all in New Kensington.Â
