Alexander Simon Dubensky, 81

Alexander Simon Dubensky, 81, of DeLancey died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

He was born March 7, 1930, in DeLancey, a son of the late Michael L. and Mary (Quashnock) Dubensky.

He was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church in Punxsutawney.
April 18, 1959, he married the former Mary Ellen Zelman, who preceded him in death Aug. 10, 1993.

Mr. Dubensky was a U.S. Army veteran and served his country during the Korean conflict.

He worked as a machinist for Star Iron Works for more than 30 years.

Margaret L. Stiteler Orr, 70

Margaret L. Stiteler Orr, 70, of Indiana, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born in 1941 in North Mahoning Township, a daughter of the late James H. and June L. (Van Horn) Coon.

She married Richard Orr, who survives, of Indiana.

Mrs. Orr was an active member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Smicksburg for her entire life.

She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family.

Floyd Melvin Stanford, 90

Floyd Melvin Stanford, 90, passed away peacefully Nov. 16, 2011, at the Veterans' Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas.

He was born Jan. 10, 1921, in Rimersburg, a son of the late Richard M. Stanford and Gertrude (Bell) Stanford.

June 26, 1941, he married Dorothy Aldine (Mottern) Stanford.

They had three children, Carol Kay Stanford and Ricky Vay Stanford, both of Bryan, Texas, and the late Richard Ray Stanford. They also had nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
