Eugene T. Walls, 81

Eugene T. Walls, 81, Punxsutawney, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at Jefferson Manor Health Center in Brookville.

He was born July 20, 1930, in Big Run, a son of the late Clyde and Lydia (Craft) Walls.

Nov. 8, 1947, in Big Run, he married the former Nora Mae Knarr, who survives.

Mr. Walls was retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. 

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and horses and playing checkers and ROOK. 
He also liked spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with his many friends at Jefferson Manor.

Albert W. Mack, 89

Albert W. Mack, 89, Punxsutawney, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at Wellington Heights.

He was born Oct. 26, 1922, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Albert J. and Edith (Lewis) Mack.

Oct. 4, 1942, he married Helen McQuown, who preceded him in death May 1, 2004.

Mr. Mack was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

He was also a member of the American Legion, the B.P.O Elks No. 301 and the Punxsutawney Area Historical & Genealogical Society.

An avid bowler and golfer, Mr. Mack bowled two perfect games and achieved a hole-in-one in golf.

Albert W. Mack, 89, Punxsutawney, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at Wellington Heights in Punxsutawney.

Arrangements are incomplete and under the direction of the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

Margaret G. Simpson, 89

Margaret G. Simpson, 89, Rossiter, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at The Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville.

She was the daughter of the late Felix and and Carmella (Cataldo) Truance.

Mrs. Simpson was a lifelong resident of Rossiter and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for more than 30 years.

She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection of Rossiter.
