Stephanie A. Georgek, 46, of Treasure Lake, DuBois, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at DuBois Regional Medical Center.
She was born July 23, 1965, in DuBois, a daughter of the late John E. Rieg Sr. and Cloyann (Frease) Rieg Hurd.
Sept. 23, 1989, she married Mark K. Georgek, who survives.
Mrs. Georgek was a controller at Hardware Specialties in DuBois for 11 years.
She attended St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in DuBois.
Edna Marie Shaffer, 75, Brookville, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at home.
She was born June 7, 1936, in Reynoldsville, a daughter of the late Donald S. and Arveda (Sprague) Reed.
April 12, 1958, she married John Irvin Shaffer, who survives.
Mrs. Shaffer was a member of the Ramsaytown United Methodist Church.
She was also a former member of Green Valley Grange and the Ramsaytown United Methodist Ladies’ Aid.
She enjoyed being with her family, reading and knitting.
