Dennis D. Hook

Dennis D. Hook, Brooksville, Fla., passed away Sept. 19, 2011.

He was born in Spangler and was a 1966 graduate of Purchase Line High School.

Mr. Hook moved to Syracuse, N.Y., where he spent most of his life. He worked for P&C Foods as a truck driver, accumulating more than 1.5 million safe driving miles. He also received New York State Safe Driver of the Year awards.

He retired after 34 years with the Teamsters Local No. 317, then moved to Florida where he wanted to retire for a while. He also worked for Autoway-Ford of Brooksville for four years.
