John M. Hazlett, 82, Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Boardman, Ohio, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, in Columbus.
He was born April 6, 1928, in Frostburg, the son of Mark and Helen (Gould) Hazlett.
He was married to his wife of 56 years, F. Louise Hazlett, who preceded him in death.
A 1946 graduate of Punxsutawney High School, Mr. Hazlett earned a private pilot’s license at age 17 and served the U.S. Navy as an Air Corps V-5 flight officer, then V-6 Reservist.
Vance Hankinson, 51, Elk Run, Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at UPMC-Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
Arrangements are incomplete and under the direction of the McCabe Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
