Mildred L. Hoch, 88, Sprankle Mills, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at her home.
She was born Feb. 2, 1922, in Oliver Township, a daughter of the late Manuel J. and Myrtle (Moore) Burkett.
Jan. 20, 1944, she married Clarence L. Hoch, who preceded her in death Jan. 17, 2010.
Dominic V. Fernichio, 93, Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center, Punxsutawney.
He was born July 11, 1917, in Mt. Jewett, a son of the late Anthony and Angeline (Ignota) Fernichio.
Mr. Fernichio was married to Grace (Gigliotti) Fernichio, who preceded him in death.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Normandy Landings and the Battle of the Bulge.
Mr. Fernichio was a clerk at Brown’s Boot Shop and a member of Ss. Cosmas & Damian Roman Catholic Church in Punxsutawney.
Mary Ann Bishop, 63, Punxsutawney, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born Oct. 28, 1947, in Millerstown, a daughter of the late Roy E. and Dorothy (Huffman) Ogden.
Feb. 25, 1994, she married William Eugene Bishop, who survives.
Mrs. Bishop was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
She was a self-employed licensed psychologist and professional counselor and had previously worked as the clinical director at the Larned State Hospital for the criminally insane in Larned, Kansas. She enjoyed her work and helping others.
