Fred D. Runco, 66, Punxsutawney, passed away Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at UPMC-Mercy, Pittsburgh.
He was born Aug. 1, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, a son of the late Dominic and Colomba â€śCloâ€ť (Perfili) Runco.
March 14, 1972, he married Linda (Smith) Runco of Punxsutawney, who survives.
Mr. Runco was a member of Ss. Cosmas & Damian Roman Catholic Church.
He loved the outdoors, wildlife and fishing.
John James Landolfi, 82, Gainesville, Fla., died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, at the Veterans Hospital in Gainesville.
He was born Dec. 13, 1927, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Cinque) Landolfi, who later moved to Edinburg.
He was married to Bonnie (Swanson) Landolfi, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Landolfi was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II.
He was a carpenter for a local union based out of Pittsburgh for many years, as well as the owner of the Town Pump Tavern in Punxsutawney for more than 25 years.
Dominic V. Fernichio, 93, Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center, Punxsutawney.
He was born July 11, 1917, in Mt. Jewett, a son of the late Anthony and Angeline (Ignota) Fernichio.
Mr. Fernichio was married to Grace (Gigliotti) Fernichio, who preceded him in death.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Normandy Landings and the Battle of the Bulge.
Mr. Fernichio was a clerk at Brownâ€™s Boot Shop and a member of Ss. Cosmas & Damian Roman Catholic Church in Punxsutawney.
Charles Ivan â€śTippyâ€ť Dinger, 97, Grove City, formerly of Knox Dale, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010.
He was born Aug. 27, 1913, a son of the late Joseph W. and Rachel E. (Wolfe) Dinger.
April 4, 1936, Mr. Dinger married Anna Mae Catherine (Miller) Dinger, who preceded him in death Dec. 10, 1993. Dec. 17, 1994, he married Georgia A. (Tanner) Dinger, who preceded him in death Aug. 28, 2007.
He was a welder by trade and attended the She-Muel Church in Worthville.
Mr. Dinger was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Mary Ann Bishop, 63, Punxsutawney, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at her home.
Arrangements are incomplete and under the direction of the Brenda Shumaker Funeral Home, Big Run.
