Earl H. Wetzel, 84, Rochester Mills, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at Indiana Regional medical Center.
He was born April 10, 1926, in Rayne Township, Indiana County, a son of the late Howard B. and Myrtle (Orr) Wetzel.
June 12, 1944, he married his wife of 66 years, Jean V. Farnsworth, who survives.
Mr. Wetzel spent his childhood on the farms of his parents and grandfather, H.H. Wetzel.
John J. Landolfi, 82, Gainesville, Fla., died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at the Veterans Hospital in Gainesville.
He was born Dec. 13, 1927, in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Cinque) Landolfi, who later moved to Edinburg.
He was married to Bonnie (Swanson) Landolfi, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Landolfi was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II.
He was a carpenter for a local union based out of Pittsburgh for many years, as well as the owner of the Town Pump Tavern in Punxsutawney for more than 25 years.
Florence Frances Gidley, 84, Punxsutawney, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center, Punxsutawney.
She was born April 10, 1926, in Alexandria, Va., a daughter of the late Russell Lyle and Ida Ketuma (Rochester) Linthicum.
Mrs. Gidley was married to Donald Gidley, who preceded her in death.
She was a Jehovah’s Witness and an active volunteer at Punxsutawney Area Hospital and Mulberry Square.
Dominic C. Fernichio, 93, Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center, Punxsutawney.
