Four people were transported to Punxsutawney Area Hospital with unknown injuries following a three-vehicle accident that occurred on East Mahoning Street on Wednesday morning in Punxsutawney, when a red Dodge Dakota was struck by a silver Subaru and a red Peterbilt tractor trailer.

On Tuesday evening, the Punxsutawney Area High School held the dedication ceremony for the new fitness center and weight room facility.
Members of the Punxsutawney Athletic Foundation (PAF) and the Cook family were on hand as key contributors to the project, and students from Jeff Tech who helped draft the model for the facility were also in attendance.
Volunteers assist with the construction of the famous canopy that will take center stage in Barclay Square for the remainder of the summer.

â€śAlways be aware of criminals who are in a perpetual quest to defraud you of your hard-earned money and assets.
â€śTroopers are continually gathering intelligence in an attempt to identify current scams so, in turn, the public can be made award of those crimes.
The Punxsutawney Fire Department Dive Team launched its new inflatable boat that was purchased by the Punxsutawney Rotary Club.

Festival at Big Run
There will be an ice cream and strawberry festival held in Cox's Hall, Big Run, on Friday and Saturday evenings, June 15th and 16th, under the auspices of the Ladies' Aid Society for the benefit of the M.E. Church.
A very pleasant time is anticipated and all are invited to attend.
