Shaffer’s art on display now at PAH

PUNXSUTAWNEY — When it comes to art, Paul Shaffer has a gift that allows him to create some truly breathtaking pieces.

Shaffer is a member of the Punxsutawney Arts Association, Inc., and at 83
years old, he can create a scene that looks as though it is coming off of the canvas, a scene that makes you stop and look at the amazing details.

PCS students make history lesson ‘person’al

Recently the students in Mrs. Dilts’ third-grade class at Punxsutawney Christian School completed a character book report.

The students were required to read a biography and then write a report and create their famous person in history.
