PAHS students kick off Youth Art Month

On Saturday, members of the Punxsutawney Area High School Art Club kicked off Youth Art Month with a huge slate of festivities as PAHS.

Students opened up their studios and workshops to host youngsters from the community, and Punxsutawney Borough Mayor Richard Alexander (back row, center) was on hand to officially declare March to be Youth Art Month in Punxsutawney.

Spirit reporter Michael Waterloo was also in attendance, going station to station to capture some of the fun activities offered.

Big Brothers Big Sisters gathers support through Brookville dinner

Big Brothers Big Sisters recently held a dinner at the Heritage House in Brookville, inviting prominent figures in the local community to raise support for the program.
