PUNXSUTAWNEY â€” Teresa Neal is a recognizable face around town.
You may recognize her from the Punxsutawney Career Link Center, or perhaps you have seen her at the Punxsutawney Area Community Center.

BROCKWAY â€” At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, scanner transmissions called all Brockway Fire Department personnel to quarters to await instruction, and shortly afterward, authorities from across the area â€” including law enforcement from Brookville and Reynoldsville â€” were called to respond to a staging area on Cemetery Road in the part of Brockway known as Cemetery Hill.
As personnel responded, the nature of the call was revealed, as they were warned that â€ślots of shootingâ€ť had taken place.
The ribbon was cut Wednesday at the new West End Tire Center on
West Mahoning Street at the location of the former West End Sunoco station. The official groundbreaking ceremony was held Thursday evening for the Cobblestone Hotel, which will be located near Walmart on Alliance Drive.
The 36-room hotel, which will have a swimming pool and conference room â€” isn't expected to be completed until spring 2014.
According to scanner reports from Thursday afternoon, local authorities have responded to an area referred to as Cemetery Hill in Brockway in response to multiple shots being fired.
According to WJAC-TV, "a state police spokesperson in Harrisburg confirmed one state trooper was injured in what was described as an 'ongoing situation' on Cemetery Hill Road."
Scanner reports also stated that area schools were on lockdown.
