The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) stopped by Punxsutawney on Thursday as part of its DCED on the Road initiative.
Clyde "Champ" Holman (right), the deputy secretary for community affairs and development at DCED, visited a number of locations across the state — including, in Jefferson County, Punxsy and Brookville — to meet with constituents and tour finished projects in which DCED had a hand and to hear about projects that are being considered for the future.
(Editor’s note: This piece is one in a series of “Familiar Faces Friday” features to be written by Spirit reporter Destiny Pifer. The point of the project will be to highlight a member of the community who may be recognizable to many and tell his or her story. Today’s familiar face is Dawn Krishart.)
