PUNXSUTAWNEY â€” You may recognize Mary Ann Kernich from the Music in the Park events held every Thursday throughout the summer.
She is a recognizable face throughout town with her volunteer work in the community and through her church.
Members of the classic rock band G3 brought the summerâ€™s Music in the Park series to a close on Thursday evening, playing to a good-sized crowd in Barclay Square.
On Monday, the canopy that has been an integral part of the concert series will come down â€” one of the many signs around town that summer is coming to a close.
